Check the address on a program's registration before you go: it's usually an office or a hall, not a job site. Florida files these programs under the occupation code it uses for plumbing and pipe fitting, so its roster carries no count of fire sprinkler programs to set beside this board. The annual report is the document that names the occupation program by program, and this board is what it prices under that name and the roster still lists.

02 THE LICENSE

Florida issues no state license to the person who installs a fire sprinkler system. What the state certifies is the contracting: a certificate from the Division of State Fire Marshal is required to contract for this work, and Contractor II is the class that covers water sprinkler systems.
