What we collect

Your email address and your state, when you type them into the signup form. That is all. There is no account, no password, and no cookie.

Why we collect it

Application windows are local. Your state tells us which ones matter to you. Your email is how we tell you one opened. We use both for that and nothing else.

Where it is stored

With Resend, the service that holds our mailing list and sends our email. Resend stores your address and your state on our behalf. You can read their privacy terms at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Your address is never sold, rented, traded, or shared. There is no advertising on this site and no ad network in it.

Page counts

When page counting is switched on, it runs on Plausible Analytics. Plausible sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and cannot tell who you are.

Our host keeps ordinary server logs of requests, which include IP addresses, and uses them to keep the site up and to stop abuse.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe. Use it and the sending stops. You can also reply to any email with the word unsubscribe.

Deleting your data

Write to skilledladder@gmail.com and ask. We delete your address and your state, and we write back when it is done.

Children

This site is written for adults deciding on a career. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. If a change affects how we use your address, the list hears by email first.
