Finish this apprenticeship and the license these hours reach is Oregon's limited building maintenance electrician license. It is a limited license, separate from the general journeyman electrician license. The state's rule describes the work: one who "is authorized to maintain, repair and replace the following electrical installations required on the premises of commercial office buildings, buildings occupied by the state or a local government entity or facilities designated by the board in electrical systems not exceeding 300 volts to ground, excluding Protective Signaling and Limited Energy Electrical Activities as referenced in ORS 479.905: Electrical appliances; Light switches/Controls; Luminaires; Fans; and Receptacles." The license follows an application and the state's exam; the licensing page lists both.3
